1. Who is your best friend?
2. Why did you become friends?
3. How did you meet?
4. Why have you stayed friends?
5. How long (realistically) do you think you'll be friends?

1) Veronica! *sends love*

2) Because our parents were friends in high school, our birthdays were three days apart, and it was more then a month after our birthdays and neither of us had gotten a party.

3) In third grade class. She was brand new! And then she was all "My dad and your mom equal bff's!"

4) Honestly? I'm not quite sure. I think it's mostly because we're different enough to keep the other one sane. For me, I know that part of it at least is that I need a Best Friend --the person who I can cry on their shoulder for no reason at all, and have them understand.

Another part is that I don't tend to make friends really easily (Or at least, I don't feel like I do.) So it's way too much hassle to make a new best friend, especially when I've poured so much of my emotions and energy into this one. :D

Relating to that point, there are very few people who I be my complete self to. Veronica is one of those very few people. As the scale of everything goes, Veronica probably knows more about who I REALLY am then pretty much anyone else. (Mostly because she's known me so long, too.)

5) We've managed it for ten years. I don't see why that would stop anytime soon. I'm thinking that as long as we keep in touch, we'll be friends. Constantly, when out exploring, I'm thinking of dragging her up here and forcing her to meet my world and stuff --hopefully not in the winter, though. *grin*

1) The Katters! My clone.

2) Uhm. Because we had the same name, and we both liked Artemis Fowl?

3) I suspect that she randomly IM'd me out of the blue one day, because she was bored and I was online. We'd had cursory contact before that, on sluggy.net, and of course, we were both madly in love with the same fictional charecter.

4) ...

Dude.

Because she is my sun, my moon, and my hot air balloon.* She is more like me then pretty much anyone else, and a lot of what I want to be like. She yells at strangers on the sidewalk, and puts together thrift store costumes with uncanny ease.

A lot of it is the same as Veronica, too. Once I've put an emotional investment into a person, I don't want to lose them. Even if I haven't seen them in a long time, they're still a part of my conciousness that I don't want to lose track of.

Also: Clone!

5) Realistically? Forever. Or until we both die. At which point we'll probably meet up in some discordian/pastafarian heaven and continue on with the mayhem.

I'll give you actual updates later. In the meantime....stuff.

* *raises an eyebrow at Kat.* Well? Found it yet?
* actually, so are a lot of people, Veronica included. It's just unlikely that they'd appreciate the quote.

Crushes
1) Who was your first crush? (Celebrity or average)
Celebrity was definently Speed Racer. Ohman, was it ever Speed Racer. I would come home every single day after second? grade and plop on the couch in order to watch my fabulous and beautiful future husband/boyfriend/whatever.

Normal everyday people crush was prolly this kid Eric all the way back in first grade. I lurved him so.

Crush that I pretty much count as the first one that was rational was prolly Rohan in eightish grade.

2) Who do you currently have a crush on now?
Ack! Such an evil question.

*counts on her fingers a bit* See, I'm poly and tactile. Define crush.

I'll leave it at this: At least one truly lovely girl, at least one utterly hooptastic frood, and at least one completely amazing boy.

Hell, maybe even you. *smiles*

3) Have you ever become so obsessed with a crush, you went to extreme measures to find out everything about him/her?
...Noooooooo. Just...where all their classes are, so I can track them and figure out where to be at what time in order to get more hugs. And once, their locker combination, but in my defense, that one said it aloud one day when they thought I wasn't paying attention.

4) Has your crush ever turned out to be your future girlfriend/boyfriend?
There was this beautiful girl I know that I fell for, hard, y'know? Close my eyes and I saw her, find any excuse to hold her hand, the whole nine. I fell in love with her, and I fell in love hard.

And close to midnight on a cloudy night, I got the balls to ask her to be mine. And it was...a beautiful thing.

I've had at least two other crushes turn into semi-relationships, which I have a damn load of --I think I've had three distinct semirelationships to one actual relationship. (Whats a word, anyways. Was Blue my girlfriend before I popped the question? And did she stop being thus long before we broke up?) I've had one semirelationship turn into a crush. (Which has taken ballslong to break --it's hard to stop crushing on someone.)

5) Did a best friend ever turn into more than just a friend?
*thinks*
Yes, kinda? For a time, anyways. And then shit happened and walls were betrayed, and we fell back into friendship.

'smore or less where we are now. More or less.

Yehp. Thats all. Annoying evil FridayFives --feels good to soulspill once in a while, so hey, whatever works.

1. If you could, would you be a movie star or a rock star? Which one, and why?
2. Have you ever been in the media (TV, radio, papers)?
3. Do you know anyone who's been on a reality TV show?
4. Have you ever met anyone famous?
5. Who would play you in a movie?

1) I would be a Rock Star! Rock Stars get to make more noise, wear crazier clothing, and get to play drums. I would, of course, be an indie rock star, and my music would be full of references to Questionable Content and to Shakesperes plays and stuff like that.

2) I was on TV many years ago (Second grade, I believe) when I told a joke. The local newsstation collected cute elementary schoolers telling jokes, and put one on every week. Mom has that joke on DVD now, so if you ask very nicely, she will be kind enough to show you sevenyearold!Sor.

3) I do not!

4)
Movies: I'm good friends with Kyu Saiwitz, who I'm sure will be famous someday (Movie pimpage: Go watch Taylor-Made, it's cute!) and I am reasonably good friends with Yury Lomakin, who will be a famous actor someday if he ever gets his act together. I got to ride in an elevator with Kenny Baker once.

Music: I have met Craig Taubman, who is a little known Jewish/kids rock singer, several times. He's good stuff.

Books: I met Tamora Pierce! She did a book signing, and I went and got one of mums books signed. She's way nice -very much a feminist, but quite cool about it.

Comics: I spent a weekend chatting with Rob Baulder, partly because he is cool, but mostly because Janny was hanging around his booth for Balticon. *grin* I did not meet Neil Gaimen because I am Bad. John Kovalic has signed a couple of my Dork Tower anthologies. I have yet to meet any webcartoonist whos work I read, which is silly of me, but sadly true.

Games: I know well Alison, Kristen, and Andy of Looney Labs. I'm pretty good friends with Joan Wendland of Blood and Cardstock Games. And of course, Keith Baker, who is the designer and writer of Eberron, the newest DnD setting, is my uncle.

And of course, there's also my mom. She's massively famous in her own right. *grin!*

Long answer. I think that's everyone. Probably a whole bunch of famous in their field people I'm missing, like Zarf and Marty Gear, and Dad, and whatnot.

5) I would, of course. Zooey Denschel also has my full permission to play me. I'm sure she'd look *quite* good as a brunette...

And that is all.

1. If you could have a super power, which one would you have?
Well, ignoring the superpowers I already have, and the superidentitys I already keep secret, I figure that if i could choose, I would like the superpower of being able to ideally control my body. This means being able to relax sore muscles without having to rub them, be able to stretch past normal peoples range of joint movement, and be able to heal wounds pretty much instantaneously. Ohyeah, and have automatic temperature control over myself. It would *rule*.

2. What would be your supername?
Ohnonono, I wouldn't have one. I'd sit back and chill out at home, smug in my ability to not feel pain or have a sore back or get fat.

Okay, fine. My supername would be Kinsthesia.

3. Who would be your arch-nemesis and what would be their superpower?
Brickboy! Poor brickboy is stuck in his blocky, robotic shape, unable to do anything to change himself.

4. Who would be your sidekick and would they have a superpower?
My sidekick would be some sort of transforming being. I don't know the name off the top of my head though.

5. What would be your motto?

...I'm not exactly *that sort* of hero. I guess something clever about moving. Yarr.

1) What TV show(s) do you find yourself watching the most?
Dr. Who starts tonight. That will probably be the only show I watch, as I don't watch...well...anything.

Although I think I may start watching House at some point. But yeah. Who, and that's really it...

2) What if any TV shows do you own on DVD?
Mom owns quite a few, I own The Perils of Penelope Pittstop. Someday I will also own The Weird Al Show.

3) Can you name your favorite TV show theme song (I would encourage you to make a phone post and sing it to us)?
I will do that momentarily. It is the Weird Al Show Theme, or the one that's featured on the Running with Scissors album, anyways.

4) Have you ever been on TV and if so for what?
I have! Back when I was in second or third grade, the local newstation had a thing where they got kids to tell jokes, which they would show one of every day. My joke was "Two goldfish were in a tank. One goldfish looked at the other and said "do you know how to drive this thing?"" Ahahaha, I's so witty.

Also, you can see a seven or eight year old Kat on the Crazy Weddings episode which features this fabulous couple called Ginohn getting married in a tree. I am in the corner, blowing bubbles. Yayme!

5) What is your favorite YouTube video (feel free to post a link)?

Absolute favorite? *thinks*

I have a lot of things favorited. But I've narrowed it down to...seven!
*The Free Hugs campaign
*A vid someone did for TMBG's Alphabet of Nations using GoogleEarth
*Nine months of Gestation in 20 seconds
*This video, which explains perfectly WHY I have a freaking INSANE crush on John Linnell. That man DOES THINGS! With his eyes. And Gyah! I can't watch that video without feeling somewhat ravished.

It's a really good feeling. :D

*Oh shit...it's DR. TRAN!
*Lovely clip of Tennantwho playing around with the ghosties. Mostly because I have a half dozen Dr. Who clips, and I think this is the one I like best.
*Go West, by the Pet Shop Boys. Blame Tho.

That was amusing!
